Cologne Opera Box

An opera for children, brought directly to local schools and cultural centers: That's the Cologne Opera Box! We've been doing this since 2011, trying to pass on our love and enthusiasm for the profession of opera singer and for classical musical theater to our young audiences.

Perhaps this will create a lifelong connection with and openness to opera in some of them. That, at least, is our wish, and this, along with the many enthusiastic responses we receive after our performances, is what drives us. Through exciting, entertaining, and captivating opera performances, we strive to inspire children and young people for opera, "the impossible work of art."
