Do you love music? The Music Department offers lessons, ensembles, and courses for beginners and experienced musicians alike, in styles ranging from Gregorian chant to Gospel. Courses in theory, history, ethnomusicology, jazz, composition, and performance have interdisciplinary links to many other departments; with intense faculty mentoring, music majors develop strong career opportunities in these and many other fields.
