Description

Canto Vocal Programs emphasizes performance through musical, language, and dramatic coaching by an expert faculty featuring current and former Met Opera coaches and stage directors with decades of international experience. This summer In Virginia, Canto will offer two performances of Le Nozze di Figaro with orchestra, the roles will be double-cast. Ken Weiss (WNO, Cafritz YAP) will be our guest faculty for VA 2024. The program will feature concerts and 2 masterclasses with mezzo-soprano Jamie Barton. Limited tuition scholarship assistance is available.
