Opera Connections Europe is an unique mentorship program for emerging

opera singers, conductors, and coaches situated at La Roche D’Hys Domaine des Arts in the heart of rural Burgundy, France

The objective of the programme is to help illuminate questions such as:

- Understanding the German Opera house system, Fest or Guest

- Finding an agent in Europe Who?, What kind? Where?

- What is the difference between opera productions, hiring methods and casting tastes in Italy, France, Germany, England and North America ?

-What repertoire should I be presenting in Europe?

The 10-day work sessions offer thorough audition preparation, and most importantly, the opportunity of building personal connections with our faculty of working opera professionals- agents, casting directors, career consultants , stage directors, conductors and coaches who generously share their expertise, guidance, and continuing mentorship long after the course is over.
