As Sweden’s national stage for opera and ballet, the Royal Swedish Opera is committed to offering access to everyone and to inspiring strong emotions. SEK 600 million and with some 700 employees from over 20 countries representing 120 different professions.

With over 200 opera and ballet performances, hundreds of concerts and several hundred activities for the young, each season offers a wide range of experiences – both within and outside of the opera house as well as via the digital channel Operan Play. The repertoire includes both classical and new works spanning from the Early to the Modern period.
