Villa Musica Rheinland-Pfalz

The foundation was founded in Mainz in November 1986 - by the state government in cooperation with the then Südwestfunk. For almost four decades, it has been operating its model of supporting young musicians in the field of classical music with great success: very advanced and experienced scholarship holders rehearse and give concerts together with the luminaries of chamber music who come to Villa Musica as lecturers. This results in a comprehensive concert program for the whole of Rhineland-Palatinate.

Villa Musica is a foundation under public law, supported by the state government of Rhineland-Palatinate with the participation of Südwestrundfunk.
