he Ticino Musica Festival is a meeting of musicians, great Maestros, and young promising talents, coming from every part of the world, in which artistic expression and training are expertly blended to give both participants and the audience the opportunity to live a 360° musical experience.

This international meeting of young musicians has been going on since 1979, and today is known with the name Ticino Musica Festival. Since 1997 all activities of the festival were moved to Canton of Ticino in southern Switzerland.

Ticino Musica is also a touristic event of great relevance in Switzerland, which is why federal, cantonal and local authorities support our work every year. Founded in 1979, it has gained enormous experience over the years, beginning in Assisi and then in Riva del Garda (Italy). When the festival was moved to Ticino in 1997, it fully developed to reach its actual state.
