San Francisco Early Music Society

The Medieval and Renaissance, Baroque, Recorder, and Classical workshops in Historically Informed Performance Practice (HIPP) offer instrumental and vocal master classes, lectures, coached ensembles, and provide opportunities for musicians, vocalists, teachers, and dancers at a variety of levels to improve their ensemble skills, performance techniques, and teaching abilities. Participants spend the week immersed in music written before and beyond the canon.
