Hawaii Opera Theatre Young Artist Program

Hawaiʻi Opera Theatre’s Young Artist Program is for emerging professionals who are interested in a career in opera performance.

During the three-month residency, singers have an opportunity to perform in supporting roles and cover leading roles in our mainstage productions. They also receive regular coachings from our music staff and guest clinicians who are among the finest opera professionals in the world, and perform in community engagement concerts, education programs, and school tours throughout the state. Acceptance is generally limited to two male voices (tenor and baritone) per residency period.
