Burgfestspiele Jagsthausen

The Jagsthausen Castle Festival has been held annually since 1950 from the beginning of June to the end of August in the castle courtyard of the historic Jagsthausen Castle (also known as "Götzenburg" or the old castle). In addition to plays, concerts and musical theatre, the annual programme also includes theatre performances for children.

The Jagsthausen Castle Festival is part of the Working Group of Ten German Festival Locations , an association of professional open-air theatres in Germany. The theatre of the Jagsthausen Castle Festival is supported both ideologically and financially by the Friends of the Castle Festival Association.
