With a total of about 150 concerts per year, numerous radio and television productions, a growing presence in the digital media as well as a large youth music network for Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia, MDR makes an important contribution to the maintenance and further development of the rich musical landscape of Central Germany.
