Flat Pack Music will be hosting it's first ever singing competition (digitally due to Covid-19)

Here at Flat Pack Music we are focused on engaging with the public and exposing a wider audience to the arts and in particular Opera. However it is also our goal to nurture and support talented performers!

This competition is an opportunity to start 2021 showcasing and supporting talented singers.

Prizes:

1st Place: £300

2nd Place: £200

3rd Place: £100

A Recital Opportunity*

Participate in a Masterclass*

Future role in one of our opera productions*

The winners will be judged by the fabulous Tenor Richard Berkeley-Steele.

Entry Requirements:

A video recording of 2 contrasting operatic arias*

(1 of which must either be an English aria or an aria in an English translation)

£10 Admin fee

Closing date of submission January 31st 2021

Winners announced February 2021

*Dates to be confirmed 2021/2022

**Recordings can be with backing track or with accompanist but not a live stage performance

Finalists will also have their entries posted to all our social media and digital outlets as a competition showcase before we announce the winners

If your files are too large to email over with WeTransfer then please email us requesting a google drive link to submit your files to. Should this also not work we would then as a last resort accept a YouTube link.
