GSTAAD Menuhin Festival and Academy

It’s time to mark your calendars! The 69th Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy is set for July 18 to September 6, 2025. The next edition’s topic, “Migration”, will delve into the final chapter of the “Transformation” cycle that began in 2023. We’ll explore “Migration” through various lenses – from looking back at origins and exploring themes of exile to examining inner migration, much like in the works of Dmitri Shostakovich. Prepare for a dynamic mix of classical concerts, groundbreaking programmes, and a dazzling array of stars, including Sonya Yoncheva, Marina Viotti, Elina Garanča, William Christie, Marc Minkowski, Cecilia Bartoli, Khatia Buniatishvili, Daniil Trifonov, and Fazil Say. This summer, Daniel Hope energized audiences with his performances in Saanen and Zweisimmen. Before he officially takes over from Christoph Müller as Artistic Director in 2026, Daniel Hope will be returning to Gstaad in 2025 for another round of unforgettable performances!
